For those of you who have been so lucky to have gone to Lake Powell with the Barber family between 1998-2007 you may recognize this piece of scrap metal. Yes, this is the "Getaway" aka "Ghetto-way" houseboat burned to a crisp a few weeks ago. Oh the anguish, the horror, what an absolute shame!
However, there may soon be a replacement houseboat to bless our devastated lives. Let's cross our fingers.

I was never lucky enough! But I have heard many of the great memories that were had aboard the "Ghetto-way" as you would call it. What happened?
